Project description

This project was funded by Bank Sepah. Initially planned as a shopping and clothing center, it was later revised after further evaluation, and the consultant proposed the automall concept to the client, which was subsequently approved. The purpose of the automobile mall is to create an exhibition space where various car brands and dealerships are brought together under one roof. This setup allows visitors and buyers to compare and evaluate multiple options simultaneously. The mall consists of 10 floors, with 3 floors dedicated to exhibition spaces and 7 floors allocated for parking, covering a total area of approximately 60,000 square meters. The architectural concept is inspired by movement and speed, which is reflected in the false ceiling design, lighting arrangement, elongated divisions, and spatial forms. The design incorporates landmark elements that challenge conventional norms and evoke a collective memory of gatherings. The interior design contrasts with the exterior form, utilizing curved surfaces to create a unique spatial experience. A defining characteristic of the space is the diversity of forms, which not only adds variation but also makes spatial development a function of false forms over actual forms. The interior elements and structural composition follow a cohesive logic, where harmony and composition, from the central core to the relationship between individual parts and the whole, emphasize the intrinsic identity of the space. Despite its simplicity, the spatial arrangement creates dynamic perspectives and varied visual experiences.
