Project description
Holy Defense Museum site is comprised of three hills at the east side and a valley at the west. The main landscape design takes shape in the valley, the design evolves from the superimposition of two information sets; first, 2 metro stations at north and south of the site; second, the existing bridge between east and west side of the site. The concept of the design is to create a primary access between 2 stations by a formal Persian garden with wide sidewalks accentuated by lights, water and trees which pass the organic lake. Topography of the hill side is allowed to get distorted with folded greens and colored vegetation, trees, walls, passages, platforms, stairs and ramps, a coffee shop and small galleries that are located between distorted layers.
